Profile Settings

This page explains how to review and update your personal settings in BaseQR and where to manage your team if you are an Admin.

Navigation

• Open Account — In the lower-left sidebar, select Account to access account settings.

• Profile — Account → Profile (all users) to update your personal details.

• Team — Account → Team (Admins only) to invite users, change roles, and manage membership.

What you can manage in Profile

• Display name — Update the name shown to teammates across the app (for example, Team and Invitations).

• Email — Your work email is shown for reference. It is set at sign-up or by your identity provider (SSO) and is typically not editable in BaseQR.

• Password — If you sign in with email/password (non-SSO), you can change your password from Profile. If your organization uses SSO, password changes are handled by your identity provider.

Team management (Admins)

• Invite users — Settings → Invitations. Assign Admin or User during invite; roles can be changed later.

• Manage roles — Account → Manage Team. Promote/demote users between Admin and User as responsibilities change.

• Remove users — Account → Manage Team. Revoke access when team membership changes.

• Seat availability — Invitations are limited by plan seats. When full, free a seat or upgrade. See Plans & Billing.

Recommendations

• Keep your display name current — Use a clear first and last name for easy identification.

• Email changes — If you cannot edit your email, contact an Admin. For SSO organizations, request the update from your identity provider; BaseQR will reflect changes after your next sign-in.

• Password hygiene — For non-SSO sign-in, use a unique, strong password and update it periodically.

Organization context (read-only)

• Current org and role — View your organization and assigned role (Admin or User) within Account → Profile. Role changes are performed by an Admin. See Roles & Permissions.

Privacy and data notes

• Analytics scope — BaseQR analytics are anonymous; no PII is collected from scans. Profile information (for example, display name, email) is used for account and collaboration features only.
